Given that Netanyahu claims one of his primary objectives is to overthrow the Iranian regime—his arch-nemesis in the region—why then is he also targeting other regional nations, such as the Gulf states, as emphasized today by the well-known American host Tucker Carlson?

Netanyahu himself provided the answer a few days ago when he announced a ‘grand coalition’ involving India, Greece, Cyprus, and several Arab and African nations. This coalition is designed not only to dismantle the declining ‘Shia axis’ but also to counter the rising ‘Sunni axis’ in the region.

In short, according to this narrative, everyone is a target in Israel’s strategic plan.

This brings to mind the verses of Majid al-Barghouti: ‘O armies of Shia and Sunni, the enemies of Muhammad are the enemies of Ali; their bombs, just like their cannons, do not distinguish between Shia and Sunni.’
